What to Expect
Here is what you can expect from us as we help you create your dream home, addition, remodel or property addition.
Step I: Predesign - Consultation
We work with you to define your needs and objectives, considering the function, character, image, space and other factors that affect how you will live in your home.
- Site analysis to determine best placement of house.
- Determine scope of construction, budget and schedule.
Step II: Schematics - Brainstorming
We’ll start with your ideas, sketches and sample plans if you have them to developing a concept diagram to determine the general layout and overall appearance of your home and site.
Step III: Development - Design
We work with you to make sure the size, layout and character of your home and site are refined, and elements such as stairs, cabinetry, fireplaces and other built-ins are designed. Technical details, plans, elevations and sections throughout the home are developed 80% to 90% completion.
Step IV: Blueprints and Materials
We then create drawings and specific details for all the materials to be used, where they are to be located and how they are to be installed. Design work is completed as all technical aspects are determined.
